The Numbers Game

i guess that's where we're different,
   you and i.

you're speaking in terms of numbers,
   how many girls,
   and how they don't know
   the things about your body
   i learned in a year.

and the question you ask:
   "have you had better than me,
     since me?"

as though i'd compare,
   as though i'd be playing
   the numbers game.
